When Did The Partnership Start?
A Reddit user posted on r/GamingLeaksAndRumors about the partnership between Rockstar Games and Implicit Conversions last March 12, 2024.
Usually, a business matter like this isn’t made public. Upon scouring Rockstar Games’ Newswire, no records indicate the partnership. Moreover, neither LinkedIn profile mentions their collaboration.
Before Rockstar Games’ logo was displayed on Implicit Conversions’ homepage, we checked the Wayback Machine.
From the results below, the partnership may have started between April 3 to October 27, 2023.
Everything to Expect in the Future
Given the services offered by Implicit Conversions, it’s safe to assume that classic GTA games will be made compatible with PS5 & PS4.
In the past, other emulation companies managed to port GTA: San Andreas, GTA III, Vice City, V Story Mode, and V Online. The same was done to PSP, PS1, and PS2 with Rockstar Games.
We’ll keep updating this page for the newest info. But our latest verdict for now:
Classic GTA games that will be added are speculative. However, they’ll likely become a part of PS Plus Premium’s collection of games.
