While exploring the lively neighborhoods and streets of Los Santos in GTA 5, you might stumble upon some rare cars. This could make you curious about how to purchase a garage in GTA 5.
This guide will show you how to buy a garage in GTA 5 for all three main characters in the game!
How to Buy A Garage In GTA 5 Story Mode?
In GTA 5, every main character has their own garage, but you must complete the “Father/Son” mission first to unlock this special feature. These characters include Franklin, Michael, and Trevor.
Regardless of your chosen character, head to their assigned garage and approach the “FOR SALE” sign. The game will prompt you to pay $30,000 to acquire the garage. To purchase, press “E” if you’re on PC or the “right arrow button” on the D-pad for PlayStation/Xbox users.
Just a tip: A more convenient method of buying their garage is to visit the Dynasty 8 Real-Estate website on their phone or computer.
For Franklin Clinton:
If you head down Davis Avenue, you’ll come across Franklin’s garage on Grove Street. It’s an old, abandoned building with a few parking lots in front. It can store up to four cars, whether stolen or bought.
Franklin can also store two cars in his home at 3671 Whispymound Drive. So that is a total of 6 vehicles apart from the garage that he has.
For Michael De Santa:
Michael’s garage is located on West Vinewood in Los Santos, behind an abandoned building near North Archer Avenue. This garage can also store four cars, whether stolen or bought.
If you count his big, fancy mansion on Rockford Hills, Los Santos, this protagonist can also store six vehicles in his home called “The De Santa Residence.”
For Trevor Philips:
Trevor’s garage is located near Power Street on Pillbox Hill. It’s a large building covered in Vapid signs, making it easily noticeable among the others. A total of four cars are to be stored as well.
You can park just one car at Trevor’s home on a barren lot at Zancudo Avenue, northeast of Sandy Shores.
