How Many Crimes Were Committed In the GTA 6 Trailer?

Committing crimes, pulling off heists, and engaging in robberies are common activities in the Grand Theft Auto series that make it stand out from other games. In GTA 6, these aspects remain unchanged.

Throughout the trailer, numerous crimes are committed in different scenes. In that case, have you ever thought about the total number of these crimes?


All 22 Committed Crimes in the GTA 6 Trailer

The first trailer of GTA 6 brings new animals, vehicles, structures, and activities that have become synonymous with the GTA series: shooting, robbery, heists, and more.

Numerous scenes in the trailer showcase these illegal activities, and even after watching the trailer multiple times, you might have missed some.

Below are all 22 crimes committed in the GTA 6 trailer, along with the total fines associated with each.

1. Brandishing a Weapon (total Count: 1)

In the trailer at 0:19, there’s a scene showing someone on an airboat holding a gun. This could be considered as brandishing a weapon, which might lead to at least 1 year in prison.

2. Dangerous Driving (Total COunt: 2)

The flipped car on the highway

In the scene around 1:03, there’s a big crash on the highway with a car flipped over. Doing stuff like that, driving really dangerously, could be what they call dangerous driving. It’s a serious instance that could land you in jail for about 5 years.

Another instance of dangerous driving showcased in the trailer is at 1:11 when Jason and Lucia are driving a car and drifting or skidding on the road.

3. Destruction of Property (Total Count: 1)

At 0:59 in the trailer, during an outdoor party scene, a man jumps and breaks a table. This action is considered “destruction of property” and can lead to a 5-year sentence if the damaged table is worth more than $1000.

4. First Degree Burglary (total Count: 2)

Towards the end of the trailer, around 1:17, Jason and Lucia are seen trying to rob a store (possibly Uncle Jack’s Liquor).

Their use of weapons in this attempt could result in a charge of 1st-degree burglary, carrying a sentence of up to 30 years.

5. Indecent Exposure (Total Count: 1)

In the scene at 0:50, when the police officer chases a naked, overweight man, it’s considered indecent exposure due to public nudity, which can lead to a 5-year sentence.

6. Jaywalking (total Count: 1)

The Ocean Drive hotel

At 0:33, in the scene at the Ocean Drive hotel with various cars, there is an instance of jaywalking.

7. Reckless Driving (total Count: 5)

This behavior could result in serious consequences, especially for those who repeatedly engage in such actions, potentially leading to a penalty of up to 5 years.

8. Resisting Arrest (Total Count: 2)

The police officer is chasing the naked man

Once again, at 0:50, a naked man is being chased by a police officer. He refuses to cooperate and tries to evade the officer’s attempts to take him into custody. This action is considered resisting arrest.

Another instance of resisting arrest is shown at 1:06, where a group of bikers avoids arrest, creating chaos and actively evading the police.

9. Street Racing (Total Count: 5)

The intersection car show in the trailer, which contains up to 5 instances of street racing.

In a single scene at 0:45, the trailer features 5 instances of street racing, which include:

  • Hosting a street race
  • Cars performing doughnut maneuvers
  • People spectating the street race
  • Blocking traffic with vehicles
  • Parking in the middle of an intersection

Each of these actions can result in a 5-year sentence for repeat offenders.

10. Theft of Services (Total Count: 1)

The Weazel news at 10:34 ET

At 1:04 in the Weazel News, there’s a headline: “Cop arrests man who flipped his car after peewees dine and dash”.

This news implies that a man left a restaurant without paying the bill, resulting in the police getting involved after a car accident.

This behavior falls under theft of services, where someone avoids paying for received goods or services. If the value of what wasn’t paid exceeds $20,000, the consequences could be up to 30 years of imprisonment.

11. Using a Weapon In a Threatening Manner (Total Count: 1)

At 0:58, there’s a scene featuring an elderly woman holding 2 hammers and threatening the person recording her.

Her words, “Well, look who’s back“, coupled with the way she’s holding the hammers, can be considered using a weapon in a threatening manner. This act can result in a 5-year sentence.
