There are 4 places in GTA 5 where you can observe UFOs. One of these places is underwater, while the rest are in the air. Therefore, picking up a helicopter, submersible, or scuba suit is necessary.

Additionally, 3 out of 4 UFO locations require 100% completion of the story mode. So, make sure you complete GTA 5 entirely, and then you can encounter these mysterious objects.

1. Sunken UFO Wreckage

You can find the Sunken UFO Wreckage off the northern coast of San Andreas, near Procopio Beach. It looks like the UFO crashed into the ocean and sank to the ocean floor.

Consider installing the Water Removal mod if you find it difficult to locate the UFO wreckage.

2. UFO At Beam Me Up

The UFO is positioned at the airplane’s height limit, right above the Beam Me Up sculpture, which is an art installation that sits on a hill east of Sandy Shores.

3. UFO at Fort Zancudo

As its name implies, this UFO can be found above the one and only military base in GTA 5. Keep in mind that there’s no guarantee that you can see the UFO, as it eventually appears at 3 AM.

4. UFO at Mount Chiliad

This hologram UFO can be seen on top of Mount Chiliad, only at 3 AM and in stormy weather. To observe this UFO, keep yourself standing on the platform (where you pay $1 to use the telescope). The UFO will disappear if you try to stay too close.
