Joining the Partychat podcast on November 10, 2023, Ned Luke and Shawn Fonteno, the actors behind Michael and Franklin in GTA 5, shared many fun stories about their experiences with GTA 5 and even hinted at the next installment.

Throughout the video, they responded to numerous questions, but a particular moment stands out.

Around the 34:20 mark in the video, after being asked if they knew anything about GTA 6, Shawn Fonteno declared, “I am officially making this announcement, Franklin Clinton is not going to be in GTA 6”, while Ned Luke teased, “And I’m officially not making that announcement”.

However, it seems more like a joke than a serious answer, as Shawn Fonteno quickly added, “not for real” afterward.

To wrap up the response, both guests decided to keep it mysterious. Ned Luke also gave a hint for someone who wonders whether characters in GTA 5 will be in GTA 6: they have to solve the Mount Chiliad mystery.

“If you want to know whether or not anybody from GTA 5 is going to be in GTA 6, first you have to solve the Mount Chiliad Mystery. There, you’ll find the answer”.
