According to our source, Rockstar will not be releasing GTA VI anytime soon. Instead, they have taken a different route and are possibly going to release a mobile version of the GTA Trilogy: Definitive Edition.

Instead, they might be releasing the GTA Trilogy for your mobile devices.

GTA Trilogy: The Definitive Edition for Mobile

This trilogy was first launched on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on November 11, 2021. Now, it was expected to come to Android and iOS.

The newest rumor says that Rockstar Games might release Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for mobile before we see a GTA VI announcement.

Moreover, GTA VI was never mentioned in an early interview for Take-Two investors, claimed Redditor, kicking off the discussion on the thread.

According to this thread, GTA Trilogy Mobile: Definitive Edition was meant to be revealed in 2023 and scheduled for a 2024-2026 release.

The Redditor also says, “Potentially, it looks like December for a trailer. Supposedly, an ad company that has produced ads for the NBA and NFL has mentioned that they would allow Rockstar Games to run ads around the 19th, 24th, and 25th of December.”

The thread also mentioned that the source of this alleged information accurately predicted Disney ad runtimes during the Super Bowl in 2020. It’s also claimed that this source works in the ad sales department for Fox Sports.

That said, it’s possible that Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition could be announced for mobile devices soon.
